If you’re looking to improve the look of your garden, or re-plant trees for future generation we can offer both advice and services to complete the works.
The planting of new trees is often overlooked in todays fast-paced world however new planting is vital for the next generation and to help balance the impact of our impact on nature and the environment.
Plant selection and sourcing is very important and Centaur can help advise, direct and plant your trees to give them the best possible chance of living a long life.
Right Tree for the Right Place
We are contracted to take down far too many trees because of poor species selection for the available space. A key aim is to plant a tree that can live its entire life with minimal maintenance. A prime example we come across is when Atlas Cedars are planted in a small garden with overhead utility lines!
For each individual location and situation we offer tailored advice on species selection depending on the environment which will reduce future maintenance required. There is a huge variety of species available and we’re keen to ensure all our customers are equipped with the relevant knowledge to choose the best trees to suit them and the landscape.
Tree Selection
This is usually mainly up to the customer and will give them an opportunity to personalize their garden area whether it be for their home or business. Obviously, you will want a choice when it comes to the tree that’s going to be put up, and we’ll suggest a range of different options for you.
Transplanting
We can transport selected trees to a site and plant them in an educated and professional manner to ensure the best possible opportunity of survival for the tree and for it to reach maturity. Good staking is important, combined with regular watering until the root system is established. Future care for specimens can be provided including mulching around the tree and formative pruning in the early years.
Don’t forget we have a range of after care services for your tree once its established such as pruning and trimming.
